Dacey went on to lose 8-7 against Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB). Dacey responded with a 9-2 win over James Grattan (Oromocto, NB). Dacey won 7-1 against Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB), then won 10-5 against Robbie Gordon (Halleybury, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
