Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN) finished 9-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wang defeated
Stina Viktorsson (Skelleftea, SWE) 11-5, then won 8-7 against Liudmila Privivkova (Moscow, RUS) and 8-4 against Scotland's Gail Munro. Wang won 9-8 against Angelina Jensen (Tarnby, DEN), then won 7-5 against Katerina Urbanova (Prague, CZE) and 9-7 against Canada's Jennifer Jones. Wang won 10-1 against United States's Debbie McCormick. Wang went on to lose 9-7 against 33904. Wang responded with a 10-8 win over Diana Gaspari (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Wang went on to lose 8-7 against Moe Meguro (Aomori, JPN). Wang responded with a 6-5 win over Andrea Schoepp (Garmisch-Partenkirchen, GER) in their final qualifying round match.
