Schoepp lost 6-3 to United States's Debbie McCormick where Schoepp responded with a 6-4 win over Scotland's Gail Munro. Schoepp won 8-3 against Stina Viktorsson (Skelleftea, SWE), then won 5-3 against Diana Gaspari (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Schoepp went on to lose 5-4 against Angelina Jensen (Tarnby, DEN). Schoepp lost 7-6 to Liudmila Privivkova (Moscow, RUS). Schoepp lost 9-4 to Moe Meguro (Aomori, JPN). Schoepp lost 6-5 to Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.
