Northern Ontario's Ron Rosengren won 10-3 against Brian Rafuse (Bridgewater, NS), then won 9-3 against Nova Scotia's Doug MacKenzie. Northern Ontario's Ron Rosengren went on to lose 7-1 against Nova Scotia's Mike Flemming. Northern Ontario's Ron Rosengren lost 8-5 to Russ Howard (Moncton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
