Wood responded with a 5-4 win over Scotland's Rhona Martin. Wood won 8-3 against Scotland's Edith Loudon, then won 8-2 against Scotland's Sheila Swan and 10-5 against Scotland's Jennifer Morrison. Wood won 8-4 against Scotland's Kerry Barr, then won 10-6 against Scotland's Sharon Stewart and 11-5 against Reid. Wood won 6-3 against Scotland's Rhona Martin. Wood went on to lose 7-6 against Scotland's Edith Loudon. Wood responded with a 7-6 win over Scotland's Sheila Swan in their final qualifying round match.
