8-7 to Denmark's Johnny Frederiksen, then responded with a 6-4 win over Finland's Markku Uusipaavalniemi. Sweden's Peja Lindholm went on to lose 8-4 against Canada's Glenn Howard. Sweden's Peja Lindholm responded with a 7-3 win over Norway's Thomas Ulsrud. Sweden's Peja Lindholm won 7-5 against Scotland's Warwick Smith, then won 7-5 against Andy Kapp (Fussen, GER).
