Norway's Thomas Ulsrud finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Norway's Thomas Ulsrud defeated
Czech Republic's Jiri Snitil 9-1, then went on to lose 12-8 against Germany's Andy Kapp. Norway's Thomas Ulsrud responded with a 10-3 win over France's Thomas Dufour. Norway's Thomas Ulsrud won 6-5 against Scotland's David Murdoch, then won 9-4 against Denmark's Ulrik Schmidt and 6-5 against Spain's Antonio De Mollinedo. Norway's Thomas Ulsrud won 9-4 against Ireland's Peter J.D. Wilson. Norway's Thomas Ulsrud went on to lose 7-4 against Switzerland's Stefan Karnusian. Norway's Thomas Ulsrud responded with a 7-6 win over Sweden's Mathias Mabergs in their final qualifying round match.
