8-6 to Netherlands's Rob Vilain, then responded with a 11-2 win over Lithuania's Andrius Jurkonis. Poland's Krzysztof Kowalski won 11-9 against Austria's Alois Kreidl, then won 7-4 against England's Andrew Reed. Poland's Krzysztof Kowalski went on to lose 10-3 against Finland's Kalle Kiiskinen. Poland's Krzysztof Kowalski responded with a 7-6 win over Estonia's Erkki Lill. Poland's Krzysztof Kowalski went on to lose 9-4 against Russia's Andrey Drozdov. Poland's Krzysztof Kowalski responded with a 14-6 win over Belarus's Yauhen Puchkou in their final qualifying round match.
