7-6 to Slovakia's Pavol Pitonak, droppimg another game, 8-3 to Italy's Stefano Ferronato where Wales's Jamie Meikle responded with a 9-7 win over Croatia's Alen Cadez. Wales's Jamie Meikle won 7-4 against Belgium's Thomas Suter, then won 8-6 against Latvia's Ritvars Gulbis and 10-7 against Bulgaria's Lubomir Velinov. Wales's Jamie Meikle went on to lose 8-2 against Hungary's Gyeorgy Nagy. Wales's Jamie Meikle responded with a 13-8 win over Greece's Nikolaos Zacharias in their final qualifying round match.
