Birt responded with a 9-3 win over Jolene Campbell (Regina, SK). Birt won 9-8 against Carrie Delahunt (Bradford, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
The berth into the first round of the Diversified Transportation Canada Cup Qualifier playoffs earned Birt 0.000 world rankings points. For week of the event schedule, Birt did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
