10-4 to Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON), then responded with a 8-3 win over Carsten Svensgaard (Copenhagen, DEN). Steel won 7-4 against Craig Reid (Galleon, SCO). Steel went on to lose 7-3 against Andreas Schwaller (Baden, SUI). Steel lost 6-2 to Graham Shaw (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, Steel did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Steel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
