Randy Bryden (Regina, SK) finished 4-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bryden defeated
Manitoba's Neal Watkins 8-7, then won 8-3 against Kelly Skinner (Hamiota, MB). Bryden went on to lose 8-7 against Craig Disher (Rolla, ND). Bryden lost 8-4 to Manitoba's Neal Watkins where Bryden responded with a 8-5 win over Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK). Bryden won 7-5 against Chris Galbraith (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Bryden earned 4.400 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Whites' Drug Store Curling Classic. For week of the event schedule, Bryden did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Bryden ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
