Janet Harvey (Winnipeg, MB) finished 4-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harvey defeated
Courtney Hodgson (Kitchener, ON) 5-2, then won 9-3 against Carrie Lindner (Toronto, ON). Harvey went on to lose 6-3 against Suzanne Boudreault (Port Elgin, ON). Harvey lost 8-5 to Shelley Nichols (St.John's, NL) where Harvey responded with a 9-1 win over Brit O'Neill (Hamilton, ON). Harvey won 6-3 against Erika Brown (Madison, WI). Harvey went on to lose 7-4 against Alison Goring (Thornhill, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, Harvey did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Harvey ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
