Eve Belisle (Montreal, PQ) finished 2-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Belisle defeated Chrissy Cadorin (Mississauga, ON) 6-3, then went on to lose 8-7 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON). Belisle responded with a 10-0 win over Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, ON). Belisle went on to lose 7-2 against Heather Strong (St. John, NL). Belisle lost 7-4 to Alison Goring (Thornhill, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Belisle earned 2.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Belisle did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Belisle ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
