Lank3-3 at 2008 Sobeys Slam

Patti Lank (Niagara Falls, NY) finished 3-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lank lost 5-4 to Heather Strong (St. John, NL), then responded with a 6-4 win over Nancy McConnery (Halifax, NS). Lank won 5-3 against Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC). Lank went on to lose 5-4 against Crystal Webster (Grande Prairie, AB). Lank responded with a 6-2 win over Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB). Lank went on to lose 7-3 against Marie-France Larouche (Quebec, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.

Lank earned 3.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Lank did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Lank ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
