Karri-Lee Grant (Unionville, ON) finished 1-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Grant lost 5-3 to Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB), droppimg another game, 7-6 to Carrie Delahunt (Toronto, ON) where Grant responded with a 7-5 win over Chrissy Cadorin (Mississauga, ON). Grant went on to lose 5-4 against Karen Fallis (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Grant earned 1.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Grant did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Grant ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
