7-6 to Rob Krepps (Edmonton, AB), then responded with a 6-5 win over Lowell Peterman (Red Deer, AB). Petryk won 7-5 against Dale Swyripa (Kitscoty, AB). Petryk went on to lose 9-2 against Wade White (Edmonton, AB). Petryk responded with a 7-3 win over Brian Adams Jr. (Thunder Bay, NONT). Petryk won 8-3 against Shane Park (St. Albert, AB), then won 6-5 against Don DeLair (Red Deer, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Red Deer Curling Classic, Petryk take home 6.250 world rankings points along with the $5,200CDN prize. For week of the event schedule, Petryk did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Petryk ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
