Ferbey went on to lose 8-6 against Jamie King (Edmonton, AB). Ferbey responded with a 5-3 win over Steve Petryk (Calgary, AB). Ferbey won 7-0 against Ursel in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the PriceWaterhouseCoopers Westcoast Curling Classic, Ferbey take home 23.750 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN prize. For week of the event schedule, Ferbey did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
