Petryk lost 7-1 to Chris Schille (Edmonton, AB) where Petryk responded with a 5-4 win over Korea's Dong-Keun Lee. Petryk won 6-4 against Craig Brown (Madison, WI). Petryk went on to lose 6-3 against Bob Ursel (Kelowna, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Petryk earned 4.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, Petryk did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Petryk ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
