Bernard finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bernard defeated Barb Spencer (Winnipeg, MB) 9-7, then won 10-2 against Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) and 8-2 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Bernard earned 25.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Grey Power Players' Championship.
