Sonnenberg finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sonnenberg lost 7-6 to Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 7-5 win over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON). Sonnenberg went on to lose 5-2 against Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, ON). Sonnenberg responded with a 6-5 win over Marla Mallett (Vancouver, BC). Sonnenberg won 7-5 against Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Sonnenberg earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Grey Power Players' Championship. For week of the event schedule, Sonnenberg did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sonnenberg ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
