Daley Peters (Winnipeg, MB) 8-3, then went on to lose 5-4 against John Morris (Calgary, AB). Griffith responded with a 4-1 win over Dennis Graber (Kamloops, CAN). Griffith went on to lose 7-5 against Chris Schille (Edmonton, AB). Griffith lost 7-5 to Jay Peachey (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
