British Columbia's LeAnne Andrews 5-2, then won 8-2 against Kristen Recksiedler (Richmond, BC). Tasaka went on to lose 5-4 against Allison MacInnes (Kamloops, BC). Tasaka responded with a 8-4 win over British Columbia's Colleen Hannah in their final qualifying round match.
