Butler lost 7-3 to Steve Lodge (Brockville, ON) where Butler responded with a 7-4 win over Dale Ness (Lacolle, QC). Butler went on to lose 7-3 against Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
