Rizzo finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rizzo lost 8-2 to Marie-France Larouche (Etchemin, PQ), droppimg another game, 6-5 to Eve Belisle (Montreal, PQ) where Rizzo responded with a 6-5 win over Robyn Mattie (Ottawa, ON). Rizzo won 9-3 against Patti Lank (Niagara Falls, NY), then won 5-4 against Allison Ross (Ormstown, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Rizzo earned 9.520 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic. For week of the event schedule, Rizzo did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Rizzo ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
