Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT) finished 2-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe lost 6-3 to Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC), then responded with a 5-3 win over Andrew Bilesky (Richmond, BC). Koe went on to lose 7-2 against Ted Appelman (Edmonton, AB). Koe responded with a 9-4 win over Greg McAulay (Richmond, BC). Koe went on to lose 7-6 against Geall in their final qualifying round match.
