Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK) qualified for the 2010 Grey Power Players' Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-1 against Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2010 Grey Power Players' Championship in Dawson Creek, British Columbia;
 
Simmons finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Simmons defeated Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) 5-1, then won 7-3 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB). Simmons went on to lose 6-3 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). Simmons responded with a 9-4 win over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Simmons earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Grey Power Players' Championship. For week of the event schedule, Simmons did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Simmons ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
