Mueller Reaches 2009 Lucerne Curling Trophy Quarters

Toni Mueller (Baden Regio, SUI) qualified for the 2009 Lucerne Curling Trophy playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). of the 2009 Lucerne Curling Trophy in Lucerne, Switzerland;
 
Mueller finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mueller lost 4-3 to Patrick Vuille (Glarus, SUI), then responded with a 7-2 win over Austria's Harald Fendt. Mueller went on to lose 5-4 against David Murdoch (Scotland, UK). Mueller responded with a 8-2 win over Andrey Drozdov (Moscow, RUS). Mueller won 5-2 against Jiri Snitil (Brno, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Mueller earned 7.950 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Lucerne Curling Trophy. For week of the event schedule, Mueller did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Mueller ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
