Hammy McMillan (Stranraer, SCO) finished 4-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McMillan defeated
Thomas Due (Oslo, NOR) 6-5, then won 4-2 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) and 7-3 against Scotland's John Dunn. McMillan went on to lose 6-5 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). McMillan responded with a 6-1 win over Scotland's Iain Watt. McMillan went on to lose 6-3 against Scotland's John Dunn. McMillan lost 5-2 to Edin in their final qualifying round match.
 
McMillan earned 1.900 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week of the event schedule, McMillan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McMillan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
