Amber Holland (Kronau, SK) qualified for the 2009 Trail Appliances Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Cathy King (Edmonton, AB). of the 2009 Trail Appliances Curling Classic in Calgary, Alberta, Canada;
 
Holland finished 5-1 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Holland defeated Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB) 6-0, then won 7-5 against Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) and 7-1 against Diane Foster (Lethbridge, www). Holland went on to lose 6-5 against Eve Belisle (Montreal, PQ). Holland responded with a 7-2 win over Georgina Wheatcroft (New Westminster, BC). Holland won 5-3 against Crystal Webster (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Holland earned 18.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Trail Appliances Curling Classic.
