Einarson finished 5-1 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson lost 4-3 to Switzerland's Mirjam Ott, then responded with a 9-1 win over Marla Mallett (Vancouver, BC). Einarson won 8-2 against Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB), then won 7-4 against Diane Foster (Lethbridge, www) and 6-4 against Megan Kirk (Lethbridge, AB). Einarson won 8-7 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Einarson earned 22.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Trail Appliances Curling Classic. For week of the event schedule, Einarson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
