Allison Ross (Ormstown, QC) finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ross lost 8-3 to Colleen Madonia (Thornhill, ON), then responded with a 7-3 win over Jacqueline Harrison (Alliston, ON). Ross won 10-3 against Karen Bell (Listowel, ON). Ross went on to lose 8-7 against Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON). Ross responded with a 8-1 win over I Scott (Brampton, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
