Dave Boehmer (Petersfield, MB) lost 6-3 to Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Whites Drug Store Classic, held November 6 - 9, 2009 in Swan River, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, Boehmer won 6-4 over Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2009 Whites Drug Store Classic in Swan River, Manitoba; and won 6-3 over David Bohn (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2009 Whites Drug Store Classic in Swan River, Manitoba;
 
Boehmer finished 3-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Boehmer lost 8-4 to Terry McNamee (Neepawa, MB), then responded with a 7-6 win over Clint Dieno (Saskatoon, SK). Boehmer went on to lose 7-4 against Carruthers. Boehmer responded with a 8-0 win over Darcy Zielinski (Canora, SK). Boehmer won 6-4 against Travis Graham (Thompson, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Whites Drug Store Classic, Boehmer take home 8.950 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN prize. For week of the event schedule, Boehmer did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Boehmer ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
