March finished 4-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, March defeated Jeff Clark (Port Perry, ON) 9-2, then went on to lose 10-5 against Norm McGlaughlin (Toronto, ON). March responded with a 7-6 win over Patrick Greenman (Uxbridge, ON). March won 6-5 against Greg Timbers (Uxbridge, ON), then won 6-3 against Don Beaton (Port Perry, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the TD Canada Trust Scugog Cup, March take home 2.500 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize.
