In their opening game, Petryk defeated Corey Sauer (Kamloops, BC) 5-3, then won 7-3 against Terry Meek (Calgary, AB) and 5-3 against Japan's Yusuke Morozumi. Petryk won 6-3 against Greg McAulay (Richmond, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Petryk earned 5.580 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Kamloops Crown of Curling.
