Faye White (Edmonton, AB) lost 6-5 to British Columbia's Colleen Hannah in the Final of the Kamloops Crown of Curling, held October 23 - 26, 2009 at the Kamloops Curling Club in Kamloops, Canada. To advance to the championship game, White won 8-3 over Moe Meguro (Karuizawa, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2009 Kamloops Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada; and won 1-0 over Liudmila Privivkova (Moscow, RUS) in the quarterfinals.
 
White finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, White defeated Jerri Pat Armstrong-Smith (Cranbrook, BC) 9-3, then won 8-2 against Georgina Wheatcroft (New Westminster, BC). White went on to lose 8-3 against Privivkova. White lost 7-5 to Patti Knezevic (Prince George, BC) where White responded with a 7-5 win over Allison MacInnes (Kamloops, BC). White won 12-6 against British Columbia's Karla Thompson in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Kamloops Crown of Curling, White take home 7.000 world rankings points along with the $5,500CDN prize. For week of the event schedule, White did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. White ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
