Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB) run at the 2011 BDO Canadian Open came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-3 loss to Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON). of the 2011 BDO Canadian Open in Oshawa, Ontario; Koe advanced through the quarterfinals with a 8-1 win over Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK). of the 2011 BDO Canadian Open in Oshawa, Ontario;
 
Koe finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Dale Matchett (Bradford, ON) 6-3, then won 8-2 against Jake Higgs (Harrison, ON) and 6-3 against Mark Kean (Ajax, ON). Koe went on to lose 7-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Koe lost 6-5 to Wayne Middaugh (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Koe earned 22.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the BDO Canadian Open, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 360.200 total points. Koe ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 146.400 points earned so far this season.
