Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2010 Grey Power World Cup of Curling playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2010 Grey Power World Cup of Curling in Windsor, Ontario;
 
Martin finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin defeated Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK) 7-3, then won 6-5 against McEwen and 6-1 against David Murdoch (Lockerbie, SCO). Martin went on to lose 7-4 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Martin responded with a 6-3 win over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Martin earned 18.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Grey Power World Cup of Curling, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 388.740 total points. Martin ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 104.690 points earned so far this season.
