Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) qualified for the 2010 Grey Power World Cup of Curling playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON). of the 2010 Grey Power World Cup of Curling in Windsor, Ontario;
 
Edin finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin defeated Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, ON) 7-6, then went on to lose 8-6 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Edin lost 5-3 to Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK) where Edin responded with a 7-4 win over Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB). Edin won 8-3 against David Murdoch (Lockerbie, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
