Gabower responded with a 7-4 win over Evan Workin (Fargo, ND). Gabower won 9-3 against Aaron Wald (Chisholm, MN), then won 7-6 against Adam Kitchens (Devils Lake, ND). Gabower went on to lose 9-4 against John Landsteiner (Trempealeau, WI). Gabower lost 8-1 to Stephen Dropkin (Southborough, MA) in their final qualifying round match.
