Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, ON) lost 6-4 to Jean-Michel Menard (Gatineau, PQ) in the Final of the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, held September 16 - 19, 2010 in Brockville, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Jacobs won 4-3 over Brad Gushue (St. Johns, NL) in the semifinals of the 2010 AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic in Brockville, Ontario; and won 8-1 over Chris Gardner (Ottawa, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
Jacobs finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs defeated Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) 5-3, then won 8-7 against Robert Desjardins (Saguenay, PQ) and 5-4 against Ken Thompson (Kingston, ON). Jacobs won 7-4 against John Epping (Toronto, ON), then won 6-2 against Tyler George (Duluth, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, Jacobs take home 22.950 world rankings points along with the $6,500CDN prize, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 13th place overall with 83.351 total points. Jacobs ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.950 points earned so far this season.
