Brandon Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2010 The Shoot-Out playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-1 against Don Walchuk (Edmonton, AB). of the 2010 The Shoot-Out in Edmonton, Alberta;
 
Bottcher finished 3-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bottcher lost 5-2 to Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK), droppimg another game, 7-3 to Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) where Bottcher responded with a 6-3 win over Steve Petryk (Calgary, AB). Bottcher won 6-2 against Wade White (Edmonton, ON), then won 8-2 against Les Rogers (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
