Andrey Drozdov (Moscow, RUS) lost 5-2 to Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Twin Anchors Invitational, held September 30 - October 4, 2010 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada. Drozdov finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Drozdov lost 6-4 to Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 4-3 win over British Columbia's Brent Yamada. Drozdov won 8-1 against Dave Merklinger (Vernon, BC), then won 8-5 against Pete Fenson (Bemidji, MN) and 7-5 against Jason Gunnlaugson (Moscow, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Twin Anchors Invitational, Drozdov take home 14.350 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN prize, moving up 113 spots the World Ranking Standings into 72nd place overall with 18.600 total points. Drozdov ranks 20th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.350 points earned so far this season.
