Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB) lost 6-4 to Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Westcoast Curling Classic, held October 8 - 11, 2010 at the Royal City Curling Club in New Westminster, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Koe won 6-4 over Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK) in the semifinals of the 2010 Westcoast Curling Classic in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada; and won 8-2 over Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2010 Westcoast Curling Classic in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Koe finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated British Columbia's Ron Leech 6-4, then won 8-4 against Xiaoming Xu (Harbin, CHN) and 6-1 against Jason Gunnlaugson (Moscow, RUS). Koe won 5-4 against Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Westcoast Curling Classic, Koe take home 25.000 world rankings points along with the $12,500CDN prize, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 261.760 total points. Koe ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 47.960 points earned so far this season.
