Switzerland's Thomas Lips won 6-5 over Hammy McMillan (Stranraer, SCO) in the Final of the Bern Open, held October 22 - 24, 2010 in Bern, Switzerland. To advance to the championship game, Switzerland's Thomas Lips won 3-2 over Duncan Fernie (Perth, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2010 Bern Open in Bern, Switzerland; and won 3-1 over Switzerland's Peter de Cruz in the quarterfinals. of the 2010 Bern Open in Bern, Switzerland;
 
Switzerland's Thomas Lips finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Switzerland's Thomas Lips defeated Finland's Tomi Rantamaki 8-1, then won 4-3 against Czech Republic's David Sik and 6-2 against Jiri Snitil (Prague, CZE).
