Italy's Giorgio Da Rin 11-1, then went on to lose 4-3 against Hammy McMillan (Stranraer, SCO). Switzerland's Patrick Vuille lost 8-1 to Finland's Tomi Rantamaki where Switzerland's Patrick Vuille responded with a 8-3 win over Germany's Andy Kapp. Switzerland's Patrick Vuille won 5-3 against Italy's Giorgio Da Rin, then won 5-3 against Switzerland's Manuel Ruch. Switzerland's Patrick Vuille went on to lose 9-4 against Switzerland's Christof Schwaller in their final qualifying round match.
