Park finished 5-1 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Park lost 8-7 to Brendan Taylor (Brandon, MB), then responded with a 7-0 win over John Benton (St. Paul, MN). Park won 4-3 against David Kraichy (Winnipeg, MB), then won 6-3 against Dave Elias (Winnipeg, MB) and 6-5 against Peter Nicholls (Winnipeg, MB). Park won 6-4 against Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
