Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) won 5-4 over Wayne Middaugh (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the Cactus Pheasant Classic, held October 28 - 31, 2010 in Brooks, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Martin won 6-3 over Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) in the semifinals of the 2010 Cactus Pheasant Classic in Brooks, Alberta; and won 4-1 over Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC) in the quarterfinals.
 
Martin finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin defeated Scott Egger (Brooks, AB) 7-2, then won 7-1 against Robert Schlender (Edmonton, AB) and 5-4 against Ted Appelman (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Cactus Pheasant Classic Championship title, Martin earned 40.000 world rankings points along with the $22,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 370.740 total points. Martin ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 86.690 points earned so far this season.
