Rizzo lost 7-2 to Dale Matchett (Bradford, ON) where Rizzo responded with a 8-7 win over Mike Jakubo (Sudbury, ON). Rizzo won 7-2 against Howard Rajala (Ottawa, ON). Rizzo went on to lose 8-0 against Mark Kean (Ajax, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Rizzo earned 5.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 11 of the event schedule, Rizzo did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Rizzo ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
