Howard Rajala (Ottawa, ON) finished 3-3 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rajala defeated
Mark Kean (Ajax, ON) 4-3, then won 6-3 against Randy Ferbey (St. Johns, NL). Rajala went on to lose 7-2 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, ON). Rajala responded with a 8-2 win over Jonathan Beuk (Kingston, ON). Rajala went on to lose 8-5 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Rajala lost 7-2 to Nick Rizzo (Brantford, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 11 of the event schedule, Rajala did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 38th to 41st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 47.080 total points. Rajala ranks 30th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 33.310 points earned so far this season.
